Presentations will be held in Meeting Rooms 1, 2 and 3, also on the 1st Floor.

Lunch will be served each day in the Pontchartrain Ballroom, located in Hall C on the 1st Floor

Cancellation, Refund & Payment Policies

There will be a $15 cancellation fee, per person, for all cancellations.

Registrations can be transferred, please notify lcecshost@gmail.com
No cancellations or substitutions will be accepted after October 29, 2021.

All Check payments must be received 2 weeks after registration has been completed. 

All registrations not paid by September 15 will be voided, including exhibitor booths. 
Payment will only be available by Credit Card after August 15, 2021.

The Answers You Need

 

Do you anticipate that face masks will be required for all attendees (except during meals and snack times)?

As of right now, yes.  It will be our policy to follow all Ponchartrain Center guidelines at the time of the conference.  Currently, the Ponchartrain Center requires masks indoors at all times unless eating or drinking.

Do you anticipate that vaccinations will be required for all attendees?

As of right now, no.  It will be our policy to follow all Ponchartrain Center guidelines at the time of the conference.  Currently the Ponchartrain Center does not require vaccinations for entry into the building.

What other sanitation, etc. precautions will be taken to be as COVID-safe as practicable?

Masks are currently required per Ponchartrain Center guidelines.  Sanitizing stations and personal hand sanitizers placed in each registrant's bag will be provided by the LCECS.

For a worst-case scenario (where it becomes impossible to have the conference in-person due to COVID circumstances), do you have a backup plan wherein the conference goes virtual?

At this time, we do not have a virtual option and are planning to be in person. We are staying informed of local guidelines and will adjust if needed and provide an update to our attendees via email and update our website.

How can I receive a list of participants or attendees?

The participant list is sent to registered exhibitors and sponsors after the conclusion of the conference. 


LCECS will not sell attendee information. Please disregard any phishing emails regarding an attendee list.

I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

Yes, one-day registration is available.

Is the conference schedule available?

 A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, is available on our website on the Schedule page.

How do I participate in Door Prize drawings?

Each exhibitor has a lead retrieval scanner. Every time you are scanned, you receive an entry to win. 
Speakers, Exhibitors, Hosts and Students are not eligible to win.

I just want to attend one session or look at the exhibits. Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?

Individuals wanting to participate in one session or look at the exhibits must register for a one-day pass for that day; LCECS does not allow unregistered attendees to come to sessions or other conference events.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance for my continuing education hours?

As in past years, a PDH form will be provided to registrants to complete attended sessions for their records
If you are audited, LCECS can provide a receipt of paid registrations as well as virtual attendance reports for each virtual session.

How do I get a receipt for my registration?

Once you are registered for the annual conference you will receive a confirmation email and be able to view and print your confirmation, as well as log in to your registration portal at any time to print receipts and/or confirmations.

Yes, we offer great discounts for retirees!

I am a student, can I attend for free?

We absolutely encourage students to participate in the conference.

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?

The Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show cannot supply Invitation, Visa Letters or other Documentation to International attendees. If you require such a document, please contact the national chapter of ASCE or ACI.
