When will the conference take place?

The conference is on December 7 & 8, 2021

Where is the new location for 2021?

Where do I park? How much is it?

There are several paid lots near the Hyatt Regency.

What sanitation precautions will be taken to be as COVID-safe as practicable?

Personal hand sanitizers will be placed in each registrant's bag provided by the LCECS.

Do you anticipate that face masks will be required for all attendees (except during meals and snack times)?


No.  It will be our policy to follow all guidelines at the time of the conference.

As of October 29, 2021, the mask mandate in Orleans parish has been lifted, with the exception of K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, and public transportation.

Do you anticipate that proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test will be required for all attendees?

Yes. It will be our policy to follow all guidelines at the time of the conference.

Proof of vaccination for all eligible individuals 12 years and older, or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test within 72 hours, will be required at most indoor venues in Orleans Parish and outdoor events where more than 500 people are in attendance.

For a worst-case scenario (where it becomes impossible to have the conference in-person due to COVID circumstances), do you have a backup plan wherein the conference goes virtual?

At this time, we do not have a virtual option and are planning to be in person. We are staying informed of local guidelines and will adjust if needed and provide an update to our attendees via email and update our website.

How can I receive a list of participants or attendees?

The participant list is sent to registered exhibitors and sponsors after the conclusion of the conference. 


LCECS will not sell attendee information. Please disregard any phishing emails regarding an attendee list.

Yes, one-day registration is available.

Is the conference schedule available?

 A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, is available on our website on the Schedule page.

How do I participate in Door Prize drawings?

Each exhibitor has a lead retrieval scanner. Every time you are scanned, you receive an entry to win. 
Speakers, Exhibitors, Hosts and Students are not eligible to win.

I just want to attend one session or look at the exhibits. Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?

Individuals wanting to participate in one session or look at the exhibits must register for a one-day pass for that day; LCECS does not allow unregistered attendees to come to sessions or other conference events.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance for my continuing education hours?

As in past years, a PDH form will be provided to registrants to complete attended sessions for their records
If you are audited, LCECS can provide a receipt of paid registrations as well as virtual attendance reports for each virtual session.

How do I get a receipt for my registration?

Once you are registered for the annual conference you will receive a confirmation email and be able to view and print your confirmation, as well as log in to your registration portal at any time to print receipts and/or confirmations.

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?

The Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show cannot supply Invitation, Visa Letters or other Documentation to International attendees. If you require such a document, please contact the national chapter of ASCE or ACI.
